Most of the OMAA parents work full time. Transportation for their children becomes a serious concern. OMAA helps to facilitate transportation to support those who need it. Transportation runs daily from 12 noon to 2:00 pm to transport students to and from OMAA within a reasonable distance.

Private piano lessons are taught by our Music Therapist and can be booked with our administrator.

The Movement Therapy class aims to address particular movement issues that our children are experiencing. Movement therapy may be conducted as a group activity or in one-on-one settings. Children are encouraged to follow instructions, imitate each other's movements, listen for rhythm and, most importantly, have fun!

Parents can decide whether they wish their children to participate. OMAA Music Therapy is a group activity where children are encouraged to sing and play together, and as familiarity is established among the children, social interactions are encouraged. Music Therapy provides students an emotional outlet as well as a sense of achievement.

Classroom observation
On request, we go to our children's home school to observe their behaviours and to help map out strategies for the classroom teachers.

IEP Consultation
